Suggested social media content

Daily GIFS and suggested social media posts

Each day of CPW will focus on a different theme with accompanying policy asks. We’ve created GIFs for you to use to support these themes, and put together some suggested text to go along with them.

We encourage you to share the GIFs and suggested text on you social media account, but you can create your own text if you prefer.  We of course also encourage you to produce your own content highlighting your own events, campaigns and asks that you are promoting.

Our daily themes are social security, communities, tax, work & jobs, public services, and care. View full details here .

There’s no GIF for the first day of CPW (Monday 5th), because we will be sharing our animation showcasing solutions to poverty on our social media @PovertyAlliance. Please watch and share.

We also have lots of CPW graphics and other resources for online actions here, including a guide to making short videos. If you’d like to make your own graphics for the week using our CPW templates, contact suzi.murning@povertyalliance.org.

Talking about poverty to win hearts and minds

We’d encourage you to produce your own content for the week, using the framing recommendations and the #ChallengePoverty and #TogetherWeCan hashtags. Here are the slides that accompany our framing training ‘Talking about poverty to win hearts and minds’:

‘Talking Poverty: Using frames to change people’s views’.

Please email Suzi at suzi.murning@povertyalliance.org for the full handouts.
