Launching the Scottish Campaign on Rights to Social Security’s Principles for Change; outlining the campaign’s vision for social security. The Scottish Campaign on Rights to Social Security (SCORSS) is a coalition of organisations who advocate for a reformed social security system that reflects the five principles set out in our Principles for Change. SCORSS (previously the Scottish Campaign on Welfare Reform) encompasses over 40 organisations from key third sector organisations, charities, faith groups, and unions across Scotland.
About the event
This event – held as part of Challenge Poverty Week – will launch SCORSS’ new Principles for Change; a publication that sets out the campaign’s shared vision for social security in Scotland.
With speakers including Shirley-Anne Somerville MSP (Cabinet Secretary for Social Security and Older People), the event will be of interest to any organisations or individuals engaged in social security delivery, support or policy in Scotland.
