In collaboration with key partners, NHS Health Scotland is in the process of developing a National Communications Plan for Child Poverty. In the first instance this plan focuses on communications with strategic decision makers, operational workforce and staff across the NHS workforce. The single plan aims to help provide clarity on the causes and consequences of child poverty, and help NHS Boards to augment national activity with consistent messages. It is anticipated that the plan will be available to NHS Strategic Communications Leads and Child Poverty Leads in advance of Challenge Poverty Week 2019, and will be formally launched as a CPW activity.
