STAR Project is an award winning community organisation, delivering sustainable and positive social outcomes in Renfrewshire. For Challenge Poverty Week this year they will be launching a Community Fridge Recipe Book, inspired by their Community Fridge and Pantry to encourage people to save money, batch cook and create meals from scratch. The book has been written by our community members and includes information on freezing (and defrosting) food, cost per head and recipe ‘hacks’ for affordable meals. As part of the launch, they will be providing people with bags of ingredients so they can try out some of the recipes.
The launch will be taking place between 1030 and 1230 on Tuesday 8th October. To find out more information, please contact Heather Kay at firstname.lastname@example.org
