The Clackmannanshire Alliance is pleased to introduce Gillian Winters who is the local delivery lead for Social Security Scotland and Jonny Miller who is the Managing Director of the Citizens Advice Bureau in Clackmannanshire.

This information session will provide attendees with an overview of the work they do and provide time networking and questions and answers.

Social Security Scotland is an Executive Agency of the Scottish Government. In Scotland they have a number of devolved benefits, and it’s their responsibility to ensure that they are managed correctly and fairly, delivering those benefits to the 1.4 million people who rely on them.

Clackmannanshire CAB has been delivering free, impartial and confidential advice to the residents of Clackmannanshire for over 50 years. They continue to deliver support and guidance on a range of topics, giving people the information they need to deal with any situation and improve their lives. New services are being developed and offered by the bureau with more in depth information on services directly aimed at financial education and reduction of poverty. This includes changes in the way the bureau is working on not just crisis management, but on the prevention of crisis occurring.
