Is Anyone Listening? CAP Scotland Client Report

October 7 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

This free event is open to the public and is a webinar presenting CAP’s latest Research in Scotland.

New research from Christians Against Poverty (CAP) highlights the multiple and complex challenges for those on chronic low incomes living with debt. With an expected economic downturn to come, the client report from this local debt charity makes stark reading, as the further hardship anticipated from the coronavirus pandemic hits those already trapped in poverty hardest.

Is Anyone Listening? shows that many walk a financial knife edge with no safety net from income shocks or unexpected costs and calls us to listen carefully to the story of those affected by debt and poverty. CAP are celebrating 20 years this year of combatting poverty in Scotland.

During this webinar, we’ll hear from National Director, Emma Jackson, reflecting on the findings from this research, plus hear first hand accounts form debt advisers, local support workers and clients.

Please join us for this one hour webinar on Wednesday 7th October by clicking the Google Meet link below. You don’t need to download the app, it will launch straight away in your browser.
